Bringing the love of Christ to Haiti
Through Churches
Gonaives Christian Mission (GCM) supports churches in the city of Gonaives, the towns of Gros-Morne and Ennery, and the villages of Achin and Grand L'eau.
Through Schools
GCM supports schools in Gonaives, Gros-Morne and Ennery and hopes to start schools in Achin and Grand L'eau.
Through Humanitarian Projects
GCM, with the assistance of US churches and ministry partners, builds schools, churches and community buildings, digs wells, and provides clothes, food, solar lights, and other supplies to needy children and families.
Latest News
Haiti continues to struggle with gang violence, high inflation and shortages of food, gas, and building materials.
But God is good and the six churches of Gonatives Christian Missions have grown to a combined weekly attendance of over 1500 as well as schools educating 1000 children!
Most of these children are from very poor families and come to school hungry so we are trying to find a way to provide a daily meal for them. Would you like to help?
And we need help to build bathrooms for several of the churches and schools still using old outhouses in need of repair.
Or perhaps you might want to celebrate the new sanctuary in St. Michel by helping us apply a protective coat of stucco?
